Hava a problem in that when swimming when taking a breadth my head is going up and then around to the side[almost in a circle] which forces my hips to drop[there goes my body position....was tols to try and swim with a tennis ball under my chin...tried this but could not keep tennis ball under my chin when i would take a breadth...any other suggestions or drills would be most appreciated....thks.

Squeeze your ear into your armpit when turning to breath. Practice swimming on your side, arm outstreched, taking 6 kicks and then changing sides. Breath as you change sides keeping one ear and one goggle in the water and snap the head straight back into the water.

Keep working at it. Lots of drill work each session till it becomes habit.
Good luck
