With just enough time left, what swimming gift do YOU want for Christmas?  Post your wish, and link here... who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and someone who cares about you will see it.

This would probably be my choice for a cool training suit... something I need:

Aerobic endurance in a box. I want to get back into training, but my patience is a bit thin these days. Plus 5:30 is not something I would do again for, well forever.

My first team to be available for our opening league gala on 9th January. Not going to happen with holidays happening as always at this time of year but maybe I can get the BA cabin crew to expand their strike action to all the other airlines, thus cancelling my swimmers flights!

I was thinking about this idea of meeting everyone as well. I envision a GoSwim Meet and Greet/Clinic happening like this:

Wonderboy will have a booth, and will be available to autograph copies of his most famous posts. A few will show up, but most will not have the heart to encourage him. In addition, he will of course be the keynote speaker. After beginning his speech, James will crash the stage and begin asking questions about his butterfly. Glenn will escort James off the stage.

Tomas will also have a booth, complete with quotes from all of the famous swimmers. Sprinter will visit with Tomas at his booth. After a few minutes of admiration, she will get in a heated argument with Tomas. Glenn will escort her away from Tomas.

Barbara will be sponsored by the Tempo Trainer. She will also be selling Tempo Trainers.

Jonty's booth will be dedicated to the science of swimming. Most will be huddled around his booth. An English to English Translator will be on hand to interpret for those of us dumb guys.

Juliette will be in tow with Glenn, for more "muscle" as security personnel. Sprinter will also be on call.

Billy and Wonderboy will team up with a booth on the joys of swimming 100 x 100's.

Steve Symes will be selling supplements at his booth. It will be setup in the hallway adjacent to the lobby.

GW will give one of his trademark inspirational speeches. Juliette will be in the audience.

Cher Teck, Tomas, and James will have a pow wow. They will end up being pretty good friends. They will all purchase monofins.

Dustin Myers will be selling copies of his elite practices. He will make a killing.

Wonderboy and Steve will "tell people like it is". No one will be there to listen.

A great time will be had by all. Glenn in particular, will be kept out past his bedtime. Wonderboy is once again the culprit.
