I had the same problem this season. Looks like the training strap fell apart. I tried to fix it no luck. Who knew there was so much line in one of those. Is that what happened?

stretch cords, awesome. obviously the owner loved training with it; it has been used a lot.

No. It was a slow deterioration. Just a slit/tear in the outer rubber tube that got bigger and bigger. A sad day and I still can't bring myself to throw it out. Lots of good-pain associations :) I'm having trouble bonding with my new cord.

You don't have to part with it all. I still use the rubber strap for exercises. and cut up the rest to tie legs together for fly drills. So yea its is kinda still a torture divice. But fun.
